The system requirements for CatalystOffice are minimal. Most PC's already meet our minimal requirements:
- Operating System: Windows XP, Vista, and Mac OS X
- Browser: Firefox 2.0 or higher. Firefox is designed to support web-based applications that emulate desktop software. If you don't already have it,
for free and install it.
- Java Virtual Environment: You need Sun JVM 1.5 or higher on your computer to take full advantage of CatalystOffice's online EasyEdit feature. This feature allows you to edit and save your files seamlessly over the Internet. It is also needed to download multiple files from your online office to your computer. Download Sun JVM for free.
- Once you have Firefox installed on your computer,
- Make sure JavaScript is enabled. To enable JavaScript, open Firefox and select Options from the Tools menu. Click the Content tab and check the box marked Enable JavaScript.
- Make sure Java is enabled. To enable JVM, open Firefox and select Options from the Tools menu. Click the Content tab and check the box marked Enable Java.
- It is important that you allow pop-ups from CatalystOffice. Either turnoff pop-up blocker in Firefox or allow pop-ups just from us. Open Firefox and select Options from the Tools menu. Click the Content tab and uncheck the box marked Block pop-up windows. Alternatively, if you want to block pop-ups generally, be sure to add catalyst.com as an exception by clicking on pop-up Exceptions.
