Organize information by department, project, or client.

TeamSpaces are excellent ways to organize and share information. Each TeamSpace has its own email, documents, calendar, and contacts sections. For example, you can create a Human Resources TeamSpace to receive emails from job seekers, post employee manuals and timesheets, and publish training schedules and time-sheet due dates. Or you can create a client-specific TeamSpace to file information relevant to that client. If you make the client a guest, they can also access information in this TeamSpace.

Create guest users with access to specified TeamSpaces.

You can set up guest users with limited access to specific TeamSpaces. Guest users can easily and securely login to a TeamSpace while regular users simply toggle into them from their own workspace. You can even share your organization’s information with a particular TeamSpace using OfficeDesktop’s robust permissions scheme.

Use TeamSpaces to share large files rejected by mail servers.

Instead of using an FTP server, an FTP service, or a service that sends emails with links to stored files, simply upload large files to a TeamSpace’s document section. Then let your colleague or client know that they are available for download. There is no extra charge for using TeamSpaces this way.
